At approximately 5am BST on 15/05 Windows updates caused a subset of our Azure database servers to restart, preventing users from accessing their workspace. This triggered an Out of Hours alert that notified our Infrastructure team of the issue, who were able to restore the database services by manually queueing them to start.

We are already working on an improved system on performing Windows Updates, and once this is fully developed and tested, will prevent any reboots happening across multiple servers at the same time, so users will still be able to access the CRM while these updates are carried out.
